Trump Names Relative as Arab Affairs Adviser
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — President-elect Donald Trump announced the appointment of Massad Boulos as a senior adviser on Arab and Middle Eastern affairs. Boulos, a Lebanese American businessman, is notably the father-in-law of Trump’s daughter Tiffany.
During the campaign, Boulos played a pivotal role in outreach efforts aimed at the Arab American community in Michigan. He successfully organized numerous meetings in regions with significant Arab American populations, particularly those disillusioned by Democratic President Joe Biden’s support for Israel’s actions in Gaza and Lebanon. Trump’s efforts, with Boulos’s assistance, helped him secure a win in Dearborn Heights, a city with a substantial Arab American demographic, contributing to his overall success in Michigan and other vital swing states.
“He has been a longtime proponent of Republican and Conservative values, an asset to my Campaign, and was instrumental in building tremendous new coalitions with the Arab American Community,” Trump expressed in a recent post on Truth Social.
