The company is thrilled to announce that Dale R. Gerard has been appointed as chief financial officer (CFO) and Viral Tripathi has joined as chief information officer (CIO). With a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years, Gerard has held senior finance roles across various industries, particularly in technology and services. Prior to joining C1, he served as the CFO for iFIT, a prominent health and fitness technology firm where he managed a transformative initiative that significantly improved the company’s financial standing. Gerard also previously held the CFO position at Vivint Smart Home, where he successfully led an initial public offering in January 2020. His notable career includes tenures at American Commercial Lines and Wabash National. He is recognized as a top CFO and CXO of the year by several industry publications and holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Purdue University, alongside being a Certified Treasury Professional.
In the role of CIO, Tripathi will focus on driving innovation, boosting productivity, and developing solutions that yield considerable business value, facilitating new revenue streams and novel working methods. Tripathi boasts an impressive career of over 20 years in the IT and technology sectors, having garnered experience from previous roles at Ascendion, Collabera, KPMG, and the Associated Press. His exemplary leadership and innovative strategies were acknowledged when he received the Executive of the Year in Tech Excellence award from the Stevie Awards. He holds an executive MBA from the University of Cambridge, along with degrees in mathematics and computer science.
