Pine Grove, Tamaqua and Minersville picks up wins in girls hoops

REBESONIA – Pottsville faced off against Conrad Weiser on the road, finishing the game with a score of 50-38. It was a tough outing for Pottsville, which ended the first quarter trailing 15-13. They struggled in the second quarter, where the Scouts initiated a decisive 15-0 run to create distance. Jo Barnhart was the standout for Pottsville, leading the team with 14 points, while Keira Jones added 10 points in the loss.

Jenna Cullen was the top scorer for Minersville with 13 points, while Kloee Horoschak added 10 points. Minersville surged ahead during the third quarter, outscoring Shenandoah Valley 16-6, and held on through the final quarter.

MINERSVILLE – Shazier Bethea and Dante Carr fueled Minersville to a commanding victory over Schuylkill Haven, scoring a combined 43 points.
