Brock hires planning, purchasing supervisor
Brock Grain Systems has appointed Cassandra James as the new production planning and purchasing supervisor at its manufacturing facility in Vincennes, Indiana. In her role, James will be responsible for developing, leading, and managing the planning and purchasing processes within the facility.
Her key responsibilities will include researching, sourcing, and evaluating vendors that align with the business unit’s strategic goals. Additionally, she will oversee inventory levels and ensure accuracy to meet company objectives and customer ordering timelines for Brock’s grain handling product line.
James brings over 11 years of experience in buying and inventory management, having worked across various industries, including consumer electronics, industrial machinery, automotive, and medical devices. Before her new position at Brock Grain Systems, she served as the lead buyer in her last role.
A proud alumna of Vincennes University, James holds an associate degree in logistics and supply chain management. She is currently working toward a bachelor’s degree in business administration to further enhance her expertise.
