The Five Minute Read
LOWELL — From Nov. 4-14, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union hosted a bedding drive to support the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless’ A Bed for Every Child program. Employees and members generously donated twin sheets, comforters, and stuffed animals to make a difference for those in need.
In addition to the donation drive, 20 Jeanne D’Arc employees collaborated with UMass Lowell student-athletes for A Bed for Every Child’s Build-A-Bed project. Together, they constructed 10 beds that will be distributed to children across Massachusetts who are in need of a proper sleeping environment.
So far in 2024, the Jeanne D’Arc team has dedicated over 5,600 hours of service to more than 200 organizations throughout the Greater Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire.
One of our core values at Jeanne D’Arc is ‘Heart to Serve’, which reflects our commitment to supporting our communities both as an organization and as individuals. The dedication of our team to volunteering and helping others in the region is truly commendable.
