Here are boys basketball games to keep an eye on this week in Jackson

JACKSON — There are a lot of huge games looming this week in boys basketball in the Jackson area.

Things tip off Monday where Northwest hosts former Interstate 8 rival Lumen Christi. The Mounties get another rivalry game on Friday with a visit to Parma to take on their old friends the Western Panthers.

Both the Cascades Conference and the Big 8 put some key games on the schedule, as Michigan Center pays a visit to Columbia Central on Tuesday, and Springport and Stockbridge face off on Friday.

Then on Saturday comes a slew of major nonconference games. Michigan Center heads to Onsted to face a 13-0 Wildcats team running away with the LCAA crown. Hanover-Horton welcomes 12-2 Lenawee Christian. Springport will take on Olivet.

Additionally, Jackson Christian is set to compete at Battle Creek Calhoun Christian.
