Take 5 is a popular daily lottery game in New York where players choose numbers from a range of one to thirty-nine. Drawings occur twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with results announced immediately following the draws.

Winners of lottery prizes, irrespective of the prize value, must claim their winnings within one year of the drawing date. In light of this, both stores involved in the sales of these winning tickets have gained recognition for their feats.
